This years Superleague event will be held on 7th,8th & 9th April at Simply Skate, Rotherham. Seniors will be played on two of the three days. Anyone registered in the North East region interested in coaching or playing on the team please contact David Slade by Monday 20th February. Email

Referee Course
Still time to register!

Day 1 - 3rd Dec will be a classroom session held at Stocksbridge Leisure Centre, 10am until 4pm. There are no catering facilities so will need to bring your own lunch or a short walk into Stocksbridge.

Day 2 - 4th Dec to be held at Simply Skate 9 am start until 3pm.

£30 must be paid before attending the course, send to Bipha Central C/O Simply Skate, Chesterton Rd, Eastwood, Rotherham.

Please note that the refs course has been arranged around the U16s matches on Sunday, these games will be used as part of the referees course. Click here to register.

BIPHA NORTH EAST - Android App
For anyone with an Android phone Stu Lacy has produced an app which can be found on the Android Market by searching for BIPHA. After installation go into the Settings from the homepage and select the League you play in and then the Team you play for, this allows the App to show by default your next fixtures and results and also the points table for your team! Thanks Stu!

The Regional AGM has been re-schedualed to take place next Tuesday the 4th October in the Millgate Room, IBIS Hotel, Rotherham between 7 and 9pm.

VIKING CUP 2011
Thanks to all who helped out at the Viking Cup yesterday. Warriors were the winners after a thrilling final against Hull Fury which finished 4 -4 before moving onto penalties. Saints finished in third place and Kingston A fourth place. The game results are on the fixtures page.

The BIPHA Senior B Nationals will be held over the weekend of 16th/17th July. The closing dates for entry is 1st July - £200 entry fee to be sent to BIPHA, PO Box 641, Rotherham, South Yorkshire S60 9BU.

There are still places for more teams at ALL age groups, especially at Seniors!

The cost is £10 per person, with the games consisting of 20 mins periods. There will be plenty of hockey with all proceeds go to Cancer Research.
